Professional Background
Beverley was educated at Cardiff University and Cardiff Law School. She trained and qualified with John Collins & Partners in Swansea before joining M&A as an assistant solicitor in 2002 becoming an associate in March 2005.
Area of Practice
Beverley's area of practice is corporate and commercial, focusing on corporate transactions, corporate finance and joint ventures.
Beverley provides legal advice to individuals, private and public companies alike, operating in a wide variety of industries, including the care home sector, transportation, manufacturing and food industries. She also advises providers of finance in connection with their lending and security arrangements.
Recent transactions include:
- providing advice in connection with the exit of investors and injection of new investment by way of debt and equity. She was a key member of the team who advised Renaissance LifeCare plc in relation to a significant investment by private equity fund Equity International. She also advised Biofusion plc in relation to the disposal of its shareholdings in Cardiff ProTides Limited and Cardiff Biologicals Limited which are developing IP in the sphere of oncology and pharmaceuticals.
- providing advice in relation to management buy-outs and buy-ins and the financing thereof, including Golley Slater, Trustguard Credit Services Limited, Cohesive Communications Limited, Comcen Computer Supplies Limited and many more.
- advising on business and share sales and acquisitions in a variety of business sectors. She has advised Golley Slater on a number of business and share acquisitions in the advertising, marketing and PR sectors in the last few years and has advised AIM listed IQE plc in connection with several fund raising exercises for overseas acquisitions. She also advised the Inexus Group on the acquisition of Exoteric Gas Solutions Limited and its subsidiaries.
- advising a number of clients in the property finance and development sector who provide acquisition and development funding for new residential property sites.
- advising clients in connection with bespoke lending arrangements including convertible loan facilities and chattel mortgages.
