We have a number of clients who we have advised on several rounds of financing from banks and private equity / venture capital providers all the way through to their eventual exit, typically by way of trade sale or listing.
We are instructed by a number of nationally recognised companies to assist them on their acquisition programmes. Our specialist transaction services, include carrying out due diligence on behalf of clients and producing due diligence reports for client companies and funders. On a typical acquisition, we will lead the legal process as well as draft and negotiate the legal agreements for the deal.
Our lawyers are able to understand and deal with complex accounting and taxation issues on deals. We are used to working as part of a team with other advisers and coordinating the transaction process through to a successful completion.
Most importantly we pride ourselves on our ability to generate and create transactions and to introduce clients to deals. We recognise that in today's business world, professional advisers need to be proactive and to be looking out for opportunities for their clients. This commercial philosophy is also reflected in our charging structures and our willingness to share risks with clients through contingent fees and equity stakes.
